She was predeceased by: her sisters, Ann Odier (Lynn) and Patricia Schaefer (Ken). She is survived by: her husband Melvin DeFord (Roy); her children, David Bear Treace (Carol Linten) and Janean Farrell (Jim); her siblings, Charles Willen (Mary Jane) and Norma Patton Buhrman (Ken); and her brother-in-law Lynn Odier. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Seminary Church or Visiting Nurse/Hospice Home 5910 Homestead Rd, Fort Wayne.
