He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Vining and Patricia Vining; and his daughter Shannon Vining. He is survived by: his wife Carol Vining (Shaw); his daughter Susanna Hinen (Michael) of Huntington, IN; his granddaughter Chloe Hinen; and his siblings, Paula Stinson (Steven), Steven Vining, Tony Vining and Joseph Vining (Lori).

Due to Covid 19 restrictions there will be a private service at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, He will be interred at Covington Memorial Gardens.
