He was predeceased by: his siblings, Olive McNabney, Charles (Jack), Donald Scott, Norman, James and Bob Purdy.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Purdy; his children, Charles Purdy and Cynthia Brown of Wauseon, OH; his grandchildren, John Stover, Charles Ethan LeCoque, Joshua Purdy and Monica Brown; and his brother Darrell Purdy of Terre Haute. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and sisters-in-law.
