It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Wayne Schreiber of Roanoke, Indiana, who passed away on January 14, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Schreiber and Maime Schreiber (Deam); and his siblings, Phyllis Macon (Vaughn) and Jerry Lee "Sammy" Schreiber. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Marie (Caywood); his children, Tim Schreiber (Theresa), Randy Schreiber (Cindy), Daniel Schreiber (Kathryn) and Caitlin Cohee (Alec); and his siblings, Donald Schreiber (Rosemary) and Janet Pence. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made out to the St. Jude Childrens Hospital in care of McElhaney Funeral Home – Roanoke Chapel, 240 Crestwood Drive, Roanoke, IN, 46783.
