He was predeceased by: his father Paul Hazelet; his sister Barbara Carpenter; and his daughter-in-law Sheryl Hazelet. He is survived by: his wife Joan Elliott; his children, Eric Hazelet of Genola, Victor Hazelet (Kathy) of Fort Wayne, IN and Lisa Hazelet of Spencerville, OH; his brother Mark Hazelet (Jackie) of North Webster, IN; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Welker (Tim), Stephanie Echols (Tyler), Lauren Meek (Andrew), Megan Penrod (Blake), Rebecca Hazelet, Hannah Hazelet, Cassidy Hazelet and Ethan Hazelet (Josie). He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
