He was predeceased by: his parents, Maggie Irene Harrison (Lively) and Irby Lee Reeves; and his former wife Diane Reeves. He is survived by: his wife Doris Arkell; his daughters, Daphne McGuire of Denver, CO, Wendy Black (Henry) of Eddyville, IA and Toni Dunwoody of Eddyville, IA.; his stepchildren, Diana Hill (Scott) of Rushville, Angie R. Macy of Rushville, Jackie Case (Darren) of Hunnington, IN, Mike Moody (Teress) of Rushville, Steve Moody of Rushville and Richey Watson (Della) of Rushville; his grandson Brayton Watson of Rushville; his siblings, Debbie Goodwin, Nena Parker and Eugene Reeves (Linda) of Alabama; and his half-brother William Reeves (Kitty) of Columbus, MI. He is also survived by several other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
