She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Doerr and Crystabel Doerr (Wood); and her husband James Watson. She is survived by: her sons, Kirk Watson, Kevin Watson (Linda Kirk) and Kent Watson (Darlene); her brother Robert Doerr; and her nephew Tim Doerr (Kendra).

Memorials may be made to Humane Fort Wayne or Fort Wayne Children's Zoo.
