He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Ray and Ruth B. Kirtlan (Kirby); and his brother Roscoe R. Kirtlan. He is survived by: his wife Violet Marie Robison; his children, Dennis Kirtlan (Glenda) of Fort Wayne, Teresa Baresel (Frank) of Arlington and Todd Kirtlan (Mary) of Roann; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Kirtlan, Aaron Kirtlan (Trish), Stephanie Miller (Allen), Nathan Kirtlan, Danielle Pillow (Kevin), Anna Marsh (Adam), Robert Bailey, Christopher Bailey, Zachary Kirtlan (Blakley) and Kimber Kirtlan. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
