He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Austin and Betty Irene Denton (Lewis); his son John Denton; his stepson Joshua Denton; and his brother Wayne Denton, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Denton of Roann; his children, Racheal Davey (Derek) of Buchanan and Chris McKie of Benton Harbor, Michigan; his stepson Jeremy Denton of Fort Wayne; and his siblings, Joyce Stohl (Nils) of Florissant, Bill Denton (Maria) of Owensville, Dwight Denton (Susie) of Roann, Richard Denton (Janet) of Michigan City and Patty Rabideau (Ricky) of Mooers Forks. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service - Roann (335 S Chippewa St, Roann, IN 46974). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at the Gaerte Cemetery.
