She was predeceased by: her parents, Juanita Vankirk (York) and Carroll Higham; and her brother David Higham. She is survived by: her husband Gary LaVelle of Rising Sun, IN; her children, Kerry Bernecker of Dillsboro, IN, Bridgette Lack of Aurora, IN and Brandon LaVelle DC (Tasha) of Port Orange, FL; her grandchildren, Kaysie, Baileigh, Amara and Monroe; her sisters, Janice Uhlmansiek and Sandy Bruce (Norman) of Aurora, IN; her half-brother Roger Higham (Cathy) of Fountaintown, IN; her stepsister Nancy Horton of Rising Sun, IN; and her mother-in-law Lauretta LaVelle of Rising Sun, IN. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
