With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorraine Walton (Rising Sun, Indiana), who passed away on May 9, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elias Ballard (Bud) and Wilma Gullion Ballard of Florence, Indiana.; her husband Benjamin Garfield Walton; her grandson Brian Stanley; and her siblings, Raymond, Norman Ballard, Ruth Kelly, Hazel Eldridge and Evelyn Hon.

She is survived by: her children, Saundra, Kenny Stanley, Steve, Debbie Walton, Gene and Lisa Walton of Rising Sun, IN.; her grandchildren, Amber, Butch Johnson, Dana Walton, Dawn, Jason Walcott of Rising Sun, IN, Steve, Whittney Walton of Cincinnati, OH, Alesha Stanley, Andrew Clapp of Sunman, IN, Gina, Brent Bascom of Osgood, IN, Shanda Walton, Aaron Thom of Milan, IN, Jodi and Todd Baker of Seymour, IN.; her great grandchildren, Logan, Noah, Jordon, Jacob, Josh Johnson, Wyatt Walton, Loralei Housemeyer, Alayna, Alyssa Walcott of Rising Sun, IN, Roman, Wynne, Wren Walton of Cincinnati, OH, Dalton, Emma, Reed Traue of Aurora, IN, Megan, Mason Bascom of Osgood, IN, Allen, Jaylee Baker of Seymour, IN, Chase and Brenden; and her sister Laverne Hayes of Rising Sun, IN.
