Kenneth Peter Alwin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kenneth Peter Alwin (Rising Sun, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 23, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Wind Alwin and Ralph Alwin; his parents-in-law, Marilyn and Angelo Donnangelo; and his brother-in-law Joseph Donnangelo.
He is survived by: his son Justin Thomas of Louisville, KY; his wife Susan Jean Donnangelo of Rising Sun, IN; his son Brandon Alwin of El Paso, TX; his sister Carol Leow (Hal) of Louisville, KY; his siblings-in-law, Andrew Donnangelo (Beth) of Florida, Anthony Donnangelo (Carla) of Maine, Thomas Donnangelo (Lainie) of Georgia, Carol Meade (Peter) and Nancy Perez (Larry) of Nebraska; and his nephews, Matthew Leow (Sarah) of Montana and Nicholas Leow (Aimee) of Kentucky. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Markland Funeral Home (327 N High St, Rising Sun, IN 47040). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (203 4th St, Aurora, IN 47001).
Memorial contributions may be made to Boy Scouts Troop 605.
