He was predeceased by: his father Hubert Vinup; his brothers, Stephen Dale Vinup and Danny Vinup; his brother-in-law Max "Ed" Scalf; and his grandson Kaden Harrell.
He is survived by: his mother Betty Rose Vinup (Detmer) of Rising Sun, IN; his daughters, Elizabeth "Beth" Vinup of Greendale, IN, Heidi Harrell (Josh) of Patriot, IN and Daena Sprafka (Joseph) of Guilford, IN; his sisters, Marilyn "Sue" Scalf (Tim Bovard) of Rising Sun, IN and Cheri Collins (Barry) of Rising Sun, IN; his grandchildren, Kaleb, Brooke, Jaden, Brayden, Joseph, Nathaniel, James and Jackson; and his nieces and nephews, Michele Weissman (Michael), Nick Scalf (Kim), Jodie White (Rodney), Chris Collins (Ann), David Vinup, Dennis Vinup (Angel), Danny Vinup (Rhonda), James Vinup (Sara), Tony Vinup and Shane Vinup.
