He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Burdine of Rising Sun, IN; his daughter Kathryn Darnell of Eastgate, OH; his grandchildren, Rob Abner, Courtney Luke (Matt Massengill), Saraya Abner, Kelsie Whitaker and Bryanna Darnell; his great grandchildren, Aubree, Nyelle, Axel and Naomi; and his siblings, Jan Douglas (Harvey) of Paradise, TX and Carl Whitaker (Carol) of Fairfield Township, OH..
