He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Potter and Gertrude Potter; his sister Genevieve Truitt; his brother-in-law Verle Truitt; and his son-in-law Kerry G. Tate.
He is survived by: his wife Georgia Carolyn Graham; and his children, Carolyn Sue McClure (John) of Birch Run, Darrell Wayne Potter of Rising Sun, IN and Diana Jo Tate (Potter) of Louisville. He is also survived by 4 Granddaughters, 3 Grandsons, and 8 Great Grandchildren.
