We bid farewell to Mary Denney of Ridgeville, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 14, 2025 at the age of 98. Mary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Cummings and Grace Cummings (Berry); her daughter Linda Hamilton; and her siblings, Dollie Graybill, Robert Cummings, John Cummings, Rev. Charles Cummings, Ethel Myran, Emma Jellison and Naomi Sowder.
She is survived by: her children, Francis L. Denney Jr., Loren R. Denney, Lavina M. Smith (James), Tonya M. Brown-Ellis (Mike) and Carisa L. Grice (Patrick). She is also survived by 25 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and many great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Williamson, Spencer and Penrod Funeral Homes - Portland Chapel (208 N Commerce St, Portland, IN 47371). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
