He is survived by: his son Robert King (Candis) of Glen Ellyn, IL; his grandsons, Alexander Robert King of Indianapolis and David Elsworth King of Glen Ellyn; and his sister Lois Owens of Winchester. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
