David Franklin Smiley Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 30, 2021, at the age of 79, David Franklin Smiley of Ridgeville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald B. Smiley and Lola Smiley (Castle); his wife Marsha Diane Smiley (Romack); and his siblings-in-law, Phyliss Smiley, Janetta Smiley, Jim Bake, Danny Green and George Romack.

He is survived by: his sons, Shane Smiley (Deborah) and Brandon Smiley (Angela); his grandchildren, Lazarus Smiley (Trinity Hill) and Allison Smiley; his stepgreat-grandchild Harper Brabson; his siblings, Paul Smiley, Robert Smiley, Stanley Smiley (Connie), John Smiley (Karon) and Martha Bake; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Chalfant (Steve) and Sandy Romack. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
