He is survived by: his children, Wayne Shearer, Teresa Taggart (Kevin), Bennie Shearer, Danny Shearer (Bonita), Darren Shearer (Adrienne) and Jesse Shearer (Cristy); his grandchildren, Kimberly Shearer, Christina Jackson, Benjamin Jackson, Kaitlin Thompson, Thomas Shearer, Zachary Shearer, Alan Shearer, Nicholas Shearer, Kelcie Shearer, Erica Watson, Jessica Newton, Jason Shearer, Jasmine Shearer and Connor Shearer; his brother Claude Rowland Jr. (Charlene); and his friend Carl Bond (Jim Webb). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
