He was predeceased by: his parents, William Edward and Mary Laura Scheidler Thompson; and his siblings, Carol McGeehen, Joyce Freeman and Donald Edward Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy A. Burke Thompson; his children, Shirley Weiss (Mike) of Centerville, Indiana, Terry Lee Thompson (Sharon) of Richmond, David Allen Thompson (Shirley Jean) of Centerville, Ronald Gene Thompson of Richmond and Christopher Caudill (Jodie) of Florence, Kentucky; and his pet Puggles. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
