He is survived by: his wife Eldora; his children, Robert Helton of Cumberland and Roxanne McFarland of Richmond; and his sisters, Ruth Russell and Janet Sansome of Bloomington. He is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
