He is survived by: his parents, Walter Earl Powell Sr. and Susan Smalley Powell; his son Jerry Powell (Mona) of Washington; his grandchildren, Lylith, Madison Powell of Richmond and Emerys Powell of Ohio; his siblings, Michelle Powell of Kentucky, Roger Strange of Richmond and Justin Powell of Kentucky; his nephews, Channing, Cameron Powell, Kobe Powell and Lebron Powell; and his niece Kaylianna Powell. He is also survived by aunts; and uncles.
