He is survived by: his daughters, Theresa Sams (Jeff Adams) of Richmond and Penny Sams of Richmond; his grandchildren, Thera Logston (Matt), Heather Lohmoeller (Quinton), Ian Davis (Aurora) and Casie Yoder; his great grandchildren, Bailee, Cameron, Quintasia, Malachi, Audrey, Na'Kya, Elijah and Isaiah; his siblings, Coralee Gray, Joyce Tipton (Jesse), Janet Miller, Charlie Sams (Sadie) and Vernon Sams (Pam); and his sisters-in-law, Eleanor Sams and Dianna Daulton. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
