As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Toby may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Richard and Beatrice Brown; and his wife Rosa Richard. He is survived by: his children, Crissy Scalf (Daniel) and Ben Borden; and his grandchildren, Taylor Scalf, Jacob Scalf and Mariah Scalf. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home (222 N 10th St, Richmond, IN 47374). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
