He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Madden and Merkie Marcum Madden; his son Jeffrey Madden; and his siblings, Willie King, Jim King, Harlan Whitamore and Ina King.
He is survived by: his daughters, Velvet Faber (Gene), Shannon Manus (Rick) and Amanda Nseula (Mike); his grandchildren, Brian "Bub" Glanding, Stacey Green (Allen), Stephanie Coley (Nick), Bradley Wooley, Trey Faber, Tia Glanding (Elliott), Katelyn Glanding and Ian Nseula; and his sisters, Sue Geiling (Dick) and Yvonne Clarkston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
