He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Witt and Grace Judd Witt; and his siblings, Shirley Bishop, Ned and Charles Witt.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Ann Jennings Witt; his children, Michael Allan Witt (Deborah) of Bloomington, Sheryl Ann Ruttinger (Ted) of Gilbert and Vincent Lee Witt (Nancy) of Richmond; his grandchildren, Craig Witt (Leah) of Chicago, Heather Owens (Sam) of Atlanta, Georgia, Sean Witt (Haley) of Noblesville, Patrick Ruttinger (Alicia) of Gilbert, Julie Ruttinger-Griffith (Lee) of Gilbert, Jaclyn Bartlemay of Richmond, Becca Bartlemay (John Herrington) of Broad Ripple, Dan Bartlemay (Amy) of Carmel and Alyse Bartlemay of San Francisco, California; his great grandchildren, Harper Gibson, Ella, Declan Bartlemay, Teddy Griffith, Johnny, Jeffrey, Joshua Ruttinger, Madalyne and Atticus Witt; and his siblings-in-law, Paula Witt of Richmond and Bill Bishop of Richmond. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
