She was predeceased by: her parents, Whitfield C. Kagan and Ella G. Kagan (Taylor); her children, Joseph Jr., Stephen and Jeanne Alston Roberto; and her grandson Joseph III.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathryn McCollough (Kevin Bastian) of Connersville, IN; and her grandchildren, Martina Caldwell, Mark, Jermaine "Jay" McCollough, Melvin and Meghan Alston. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; and seven 2nd great grandchildren.
