She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Via and Mary Elizabeth Prows Via. She is survived by: her husband David Stiens; her son Stephen Via of Richmond; her stepdaughter Susan Chesnut of Richmond; and her brothers, Tom Via (Carolyn) of Richmond, Gary Via (Nancy) of Richmond and Jerry Via of St. Petersburg, Florida. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
