He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Maxwell and Nellie G. Isbill Maxwell; his sister Sarah Geneva Hicks; and his brothers-in-law, Wayne Smith and Bill Hicks.
He is survived by: his daughter Angie R. Pate (Garry) of Cambridge City, Indiana; his grandchildren, Dara Jo Fields (Eric) of Cambridge City, Jailey Denise Pate of Cambridge City and Wade Wilson Pate of Cambridge City; his great grandchildren, Holton Ike Brown, Jackson Robert, Maverick Jay Fields and Adley Rae Fields; his sister Linda Smith of Richmond; and his nieces, Debbie Abbott of Connersville, Indiana and Buffy Browning of Connersville, Indiana. He is also survived by nephews; cousins; and many friends.
