As we bid Sallie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Sallie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James C. Steele and Bessie L. Ford Steele; her husband Fred Williams Jr.; and her daughters, Rose and Carolyn.
She is survived by: her children, Ruby Musselman (Delbert), Jane Maupin (Robert) and Freddie Williams (Becky). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, one step-granddaughter, thirteen great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren, fourteen great-great-grandchildren, one brother, one sister, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home (222 N 10th St, Richmond, IN 47374). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
