It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Redfern (Richmond, Indiana), born in Wildie, Kentucky, who passed away on April 12, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Welsey and Elizabeth McNew Dooley; and her siblings, Martha Hartman, Howard, Edward, Mose, Isaac and John Dooley.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Diane Ross of Richmond, Kathy Thomas (Ron) of Richmond, Myra Morgan of Richmond and Richard Redfern of Hastings, Michigan; and her grandchildren, James Murphy (Cherish), Karen Ball (Lenny), Rhonda Luckadoo, Todd Burk, Daniel Burk (Michelle) and Shelle Morgan. She is also survived by five step-grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
