With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Black of Richmond, Indiana, who passed away on October 18, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Powell and Ruby Pruitt Powell; her husband Billy; her granddaughter Shannon Harris; her great great grandchildren, Isaac, Dylan and Oliver; her siblings, Bobby Wayne Coyle and Betty Bond; and her grandmother Cook.
She is survived by: her children, Gordon Black (Cathy), Charles Black, James Black (Brenda), Kenneth Black (Sally), Albert Black (Patricia), Sharron Mann (Micah Sr.) and Carolyn Thomas (Kenneth); her grandchildren, Amanda, Brandy, Candy, Eugenia, Charles Jr., Tommy, Sierra of Mindy, RJ, James Jr., Jeremy, Tiffany, Vicki, Jerry, Kenny Jr., Silvia, Ashly, Jesse, Cody, Alex, Michelle, Micah Jr., Trina, Samantha, Chastity, Jacob, Elaine, Dustin, Marvin and Brandi; her sister Evelyn Blevins; and her grandmother JC. She is also survived by several nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home to offset funeral expenses.
