He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Smith and Elaine Smith; and his sister Kathryn Bixenman (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Teresa; his children, Jenifer Gesell (Christopher) of Clarksville, Robert Smith (Laura) of Indianapolis, IN, Michael Linton of Richmond, IN and Jace Smith (Laura) of Westfield, IN; and his siblings, Russell Lee Smith (Brenda) of Grand Valley, Rodney Smith (Beth) of Mountain Lake and Paula Hubly (Tucker) of Kankakee, Illinois.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Roy's name to the American Cancer Society.
