He was predeceased by: his parents, Vasta Lucille Lewis Young and Charles Kenneth Young; and his brothers, James and Wayne Spires. He is survived by: his wife Jane Phillips Young; his son Richard Filby of Lebanon, Indiana; his brother Leroy Young (Rea Dawn) of Bedford; and his pet Misty. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
