He was predeceased by: his father Donald D. Searcy; and his cousins, Vance and Ann Anderson. He is survived by: his mother Ruth Searcy (Walden) of New Castle; his sons, Erik Searcy (Rhonda) of Lewisville, Nathaniel Searcy of Lewisville and Kurtis Searcy (Elizabeth) of Avon; his grandchildren, Annabelle, Jackson, Jacob and Kate Searcy; and his brother Doug Searcy (Debbie) of Straughn.
