He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul H. Mendenhall and Julia M. Trimble Mendenhall. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Stevens Mendenhall; his son Jeff; his daughter-in-law Liz Mendenhall; his grandson Brody of Noblesville; his son Andy; his daughter-in-law Lisa Mendenhall; his granddaughter Brea of Indianapolis; his sister Joyce; his brother-in-law Larry Moore of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; his brother John; his sister-in-law Becky Mendenhall of Richmond; and his pet Lucy. He is also survived by nieces; nephew; cousins; and many friends.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, the family has chosen to have a Celebration of Life for Dick at a later date.
