It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Owens of Richmond, Indiana, who passed away on October 1, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George P. Miers and Geneva Huse Miers; and her siblings, Judy Crabtree, Gene Miers and Richard Miers.
She is survived by: her former husband Mike Owens; her children, Jennifer "Jenny" Capps (Danny) of Richmond, Indiana and Chris Owens (Joann) of Richmond; her stepson Josh Owens (Patty) of New Castle, Indiana; her grandchildren, Traye, Tajia, Ally, Aidan, Wyatt and Abby; and her siblings, David Miers (Ruthann), Esther Shelley, Phil Miers (Donna) and Paul Miers (Martin). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
