We bid farewell to Ralph Owen Burkhardt of Richmond, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 26, 2024 at the age of 95. Ralph Owen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl (Elizabeth Woods Burkhardt Sr.) and Richmond; his wife Jeannine Wright Burkhardt; his daughter Melanie June Burkhardt; and his siblings, Edna, Pauline and Carl Jr..
He is survived by: his sons, Eric Burkhardt (Lisa) and Bruce Alan Burkhardt; his grandchildren, Ethan Shane Burkhardt (Jamie), Andrew Cody Burkhardt (Hannah) and Carrie Elise Cruz (James); and his great grandchildren, Vivian, Owen, Oliver, Wright and Dean. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Doan & Mills Funeral Home (790 W Nat'l Rd, Richmond, IN 47374). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Earlham Cemetery (1101 W Nat'l Rd, Richmond, IN 47374).
