He is survived by: his parents, Alan Duane and Gracie Ilene Ladd Smith; his son Joshua Brian Thomas; his grandson Zachary Brenlan Thomas; his siblings, Cindy Lou Smith-Cregar, Debra "Debbie" Lee Smith-Mattix and Leslie "Les" Alan Smith; and his aunt Vivan Izod. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins.
