He was predeceased by: his parents, James Parrett and Emma McCracken Parrett; his son-in-law Keith Rains; his grandson Larry Anglin; his brothers, Alfred and Lloyd Parrett; his parents-in-law, William and Madeleine Simons; and his brother-in-law Richard Wesler.

He is survived by: his wife Danielle Simons Parrett; his children, Sandi Rains (Tom Conway) of Brookville, Randy Parrett of Hamilton and Traci Maupin (Kevin) of Brookville; his grandchildren, Ryan Rains (Tammy), Paul Jr. Rains (Stephanie), Josh Rains, Chelsea Newton (Johnny), Sandi Hunt and Dee Rose; his great grandchildren, Eian, Nikki, Charlie, Bella, Ava and Ryan Jr.; his sisters-in-law, Doris and Clair Parrett; and his sisters, Alberta Snowden, Jean Prather and Barbara Ratliff. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
