He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil H. Davis and Cleo V. Simmons Davis; his wife Velma Jean Davis; and his siblings, Kathleen Swarm, Nina McCall, Kara Davis, Carolyn Retherford, Carroll O. Davis, Keith Davis and Dale Davis.
He is survived by: his daughter Shelley R. Hollingsworth (Sean) of Richmond; his grandchildren, Alyssa and Jaden; his son Todd A. Davis (Olaronke Ajayi) of Plainfield; his close friend Donna Dryden of Richmond; his sister Beverly Davis; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Sue Hole and Shirley Hole. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and many friends.
