He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrian Eckart and Helen Eckart (Kennedy); and his brother-in-law Jerry Geise. He is survived by: his wife Millie Slonaker; his daughters, Nora Mitchell of Poulsbo and Julie Burgoon (Jerry) of Pensacola, Florida; his stepchildren, Steve Bolser (Denise) of Liberty and Ginny Bolser Nobbe of Connersville; his siblings, Paul Eckart (Sherry) of Rushville, Ginny Bryson (Ed) of Spiceland, Katy Sterrett (Jim) of Rushville and Ruth Geise of Arlington; his brother-in-law Ed Pribble; his son-in-law Randy Mitchell; and his siblings, Francis Eckart (Annie) and Betty Pribble.
