She was predeceased by: her parents, Olis Knox and Anna Knox (Hankey); her husband Edward G. Brown; her brother Robert C. Knox; and her nephews, Billy, Paul, Jimmy and Randy.
She is survived by: her sons, Ed Brown (Barb) of Eaton, David Brown (Linda) of Germantown, Doug Brown (Tammy) of New Madison and Robert Brown (Brenda) of Greenville, Ohio; her grandchildren, Christie Barker, Kelly Pease (Matt), Anthony Brown (Kim), Kimberly Cunningham (Jesse), Laura Melling, Justin Brown, Doug Brown, Tiffany Thomas (Nick) and Lindsey Allen (James); and her siblings, Beatrice Lawrence, Doris Smallwood, Phyllis Turner, Carol Bowen (Wayne), Richard Knox and Gene Knox (Jeanne). She is also survived by her 18 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
