He is survived by: his parents, George Stephen and Colleen Faith Kruse Makovic; his wife Elizabeth Ann Porter Makovic; and his siblings, Kathleen Makovic of Fort Wayne and George Makovic (Leslie) of Chicago, Illinois. He is also survived by many friends and close extended family.
