It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary L. Wright of Richmond, Indiana, who passed away on January 24, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. Stone and Sarah L. Laine Stone; her husband Andrew C. Wright Jr. (Billy); her sister Loretta B. Stone Carpenter; her son-in-law Matt Moore; and her siblings-in-law, Anna Pearl "Pug" Ferguson (James), Natalie Wright, Paula Wright, Thomas "Tiny" Wright, Charlie Wright, Harlan "Dopey" Wright and James Wright.
She is survived by: her children, Darren (Selina), Andi Moore, Amy Wright (Donald) and Chandler Wright; her grandson Ron Helfrich of Indianapolis, IN; her stepson David Tinsley (Lisa); her grandchildren, Michael of Richmond, IN, David Jr., Jasmine of Indianapolis, IN, Marcus of Richmond, IN, Myles of Richmond, IN and Nia of Richmond, IN; her sisters, Wanda Simpson of Richmond, IN and Helen Allen (Ed) of Dayton, OH.; her siblings-in-law, Robert "Tit" Wright (Patty) of Richmond, IN, Eugene "Doc" Wright (Sue) of Indianapolis, IN, Phillip "Nut" Wright of Richmond, IN, Brenda Wright of Dallas, TX and Marcia Burden Reeves; and her close friends, Lloyce Jefferson, Mary Jo Flood, Janet Wilson, Billie Jean Tyler and Barbara Short. She is also survived by great grandchildren and three (3) great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bethel A. M. E Church (200 S 6th St, Richmond, IN 47374). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
