He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Young and Ida May Young (Moore); his son Jeff Lambert; and his siblings, Sharon Frye, Reatta Lewis and Troy Young.
He is survived by: his wife Vicky Young; his sons, James, Ernie and Josh; his grandchildren, Deacon, Paige, Ashlyn, Khyron, Drayden, Jade Lynn, Liam, Nathan and Cory; his great grandchildren, McKenna and Oliver; his brother Ernie Young; his nieces and nephews, Missy, Krissy, Veta, Jason and Kyle; his great-nephew Mason (Jeff); his aunt Judy Moore of Kentucky; his uncle Billy Joe Moore; his parents-in-law, Jim and JoAnn Greene of Richmond; his siblings-in-law, Cheryl Clemens and Jimmy Greene; his friend Jeff Coleman; and his caregiver Chelsea Newsome.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Community Family Funeral Home (101 W Main St, Richmond, IN 47374). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Goshen Cemetery.
