She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Elliott and Mary Anderson Elliott; her husband Raymond A. Sligar; and her brothers, Robert, Walter, William and James Elliott.

She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Conover (Mark) of Kingsford, Michigan; and her grandchildren, Ian Conover, Christina Larson and Blain Conover. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and many friends.
