She was predeceased by: her parents, George Berton "Bert" and Mayme Maude Dezarn Garland; her spouse Carmon Edward George; her children, Carolyn George and Barry Glen George; her grandson Matthew Sittloh; and her siblings, Alene Young, Orville and Odell Garland.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Sittloh, Rita Hornaday (Jim), Sheila George, Jim George (Diana) and Lindon George. She is also survived by six grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged for Freedom Missionary Baptist Church, 794 South Round Barn Road, Richmond, IN 47374.
