He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Fisher and Dovie Schwerking Fisher; his wife Margaret Arlene Fisher; his siblings, Robert Fisher and Thelma Sarver; and his grandson David Fisher.
He is survived by: his children, Shirley Fisher of Richmond, Dorothy Reece of Richmond and Paul Fisher (Rhonda) of Richmond; his grandchildren, Kassie, Jacquline, Arlene, Paul, Mandy and Markous (Ashley); and his great grandchildren, Peyton, Drayden, Rickey, Ariella, Jordynn, Spencer and Paige. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
