He was predeceased by: his parents, Stearl Junior and Mary Helen Samples Lawson. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn "Suzi" Dalbey Lawson; his daughters, Lisa Nakis-Thompson (Catherine) of Greenfield and Mandi Fox of Lynn, Indiana; his grandchildren, Brittany (Nick), Jordan, Kalee (Steven), Sidney, Emily (Max), Matthew, Yiorgo, Charlotte and William; his great grandchildren, Layla, Joseph and Braxtyn; his sisters, Ann Palmer of Williamsburg and Abby Harris (Paul) of Richmond; his sister-in-law Siddy; and his pet Kevin. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; and many friends.
